i thought since i haven't been away from Sydney since march'06

so, after a lot of dramas and thinking and planning and negotiating, i have decided to pack my bags and go for a 3days 2 nights ski trip with terence and his friends.

it was so much fun!
minus the horrible journey that took 10 hrs to get there. and 7 hrs back.
minus 3 macdonalds meals in 3 days. UGH.
minus the fact that it was expensive and the idiotic tour guide wanted extra $15 tips from each of us!
minus the fact that the toilet was smelly and small and the walls were damn icky and the water heater was a bit crazy.

last Friday night, we left Sydney by bus. There was an accident which blocked the whole road for a few hours. As a result of our massive need to pee, all the girls went to one corner of the road, and all the guys went to another. We had to squad down to pee while the other girls stood in rows facing the road so that the people in the cars wouldn't be able to see our naked asses. I was one of those people. It was gross.

We went to Perisher Blue on Saturday and Thredbo on Sunday. It was cool. After 2 hours of ski lessons and lunch, all of us (minus Susan and Daniel) could ride the J-bar to the peak and ski/snowboard down. It was so much fun (but scary) !!! We were all so proud of ourselves.

thredbo! it was so so freaking cold!!! my hands were freezing although i had very thick gloves and my toes were frozen although i wore shoes!

i don't have that many pics. i'm too darn lazy to photoshop them properly and i think there's something wrong with the quality of the pics. i need a new camera! :(

skiing was lovely!
hopefully, we'll be able to drive there next year!
